Terms & Conditions
Last updated June 7, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of milcleaners.com and the cleaning services provided by MIL Cleaners (MIL Cleaners LLC). By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a clean, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or book a service.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
1. Our services
MIL Cleaners provides residential and short-term-rental cleaning services, offered by MIL Cleaners LLC together with its authorized owners and franchisees across the areas we serve. Service availability, scope, and pricing vary by location. Descriptions on our website are general; the specific services for your appointment are the ones listed in your quote and booking confirmation.
2. Quotes, pricing, and the flat rate
The price we show you is a flat-rate quote based on the information you provide — things like the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the type of clean, how often, and any add-ons. It’s an estimate built on what you tell us.
If the home turns out to be substantially different from what was described — for example, significantly larger, in much heavier condition than a standard clean, or including areas that weren’t in the original scope — we may need to adjust the price or the work. When that happens, we’ll talk to you first; you can approve the change or adjust the scope before we proceed.
Quoted prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Promotional pricing and discounts may carry their own conditions and expiration dates.
3. Booking and payment
Final bookings and payments happen on our booking partner, Overbooked (cleaners-by-overbooked.overbooked.ai) — a quote you start on our site opens its booking flow to finish. When you book or pay there, you’re also subject to Overbooked’s terms and privacy policy, and payment is handled by its payment processor. We don’t store full payment card numbers on our website.
Unless your confirmation says otherwise, payment is collected for each clean according to the option you choose at booking — for recurring plans, for each visit as it’s completed. You’re responsible for keeping your payment and contact details accurate and up to date.
4. Scheduling, cancellations, and refunds
We’ll do our best to arrive within the window we give you, though traffic, weather, and earlier appointments can shift things — we’ll let you know if your time changes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as you can — at least 24 hours before your appointment whenever possible. Late cancellations, lockouts, or the team being unable to access or safely work in the home may incur a fee to cover the reserved time, as described when you book.
Please make sure we can get in: leave access instructions, secure or arrange for pets, and ensure working water and power so we can do the job right.
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms — including any fee for a late cancellation or no-show — are shown when you book and may be handled through our scheduling partner. The Mother-in-Law Guarantee covers a free re-clean rather than an automatic refund; we handle other refund requests case by case and will always try to make it right.
If circumstances beyond our control — such as severe weather, a natural disaster, or a utility or safety issue — keep us from cleaning safely, we’ll reschedule at no charge or refund any prepaid amount for that visit.
5. The Mother-in-Law Guarantee
Every clean is backed by the Mother-in-Law Guarantee: if something wouldn’t pass the Mother-in-Law Test™, tell us within 24 hours of your appointment and we’ll return to re-clean the area you flagged at no extra charge. The guarantee covers a re-clean of the items in your original scope; it isn’t an automatic cash refund, and it doesn’t cover new messes, areas excluded from your booking, or normal wear and conditions that cleaning can’t change. Full details are on The Mother-in-Law Guarantee page.
6. Your responsibilities
To help us deliver a safe, great clean, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your home, access, and the work you want;
- Secure cash, jewelry, and irreplaceable or high-value items before we arrive;
- Tell us about hazards, fragile items, broken fixtures, pests, or anything that needs special care;
- Provide a safe working environment, including reasonable temperature, working utilities, and a home free of hazards such as biohazards or unsafe clutter (which fall outside a standard clean).
We reserve the right to decline or stop a job, without penalty to us, if conditions are unsafe or fall outside the agreed scope.
7. Property, damage, and claims
Our teams treat your home with care, and we carry insurance appropriate to our work. Accidents are rare, but if you believe we caused damage or that something is missing, please tell us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can investigate while it’s fresh. The sooner you let us know, the more we can do.
We aren’t responsible for damage caused by pre-existing wear, improperly mounted or unstable items, faulty or aging fixtures, or items that should have been disclosed or secured in advance. To the extent we’re responsible for verified damage, our liability is limited as described in “Limitation of liability” below.
8. Hiring our team members
A lot goes into recruiting, vetting, and training our cleaners. You agree not to directly hire or engage a cleaner introduced to you through MIL Cleaners — outside of our service — while you’re a customer and for 12 months afterward. If you’d like a team member to do additional work, just ask us and we’ll arrange it.
9. Communications consent
By giving us your contact details, you agree that we and our scheduling partner may contact you about your quote, booking, and service by phone, text, and email. Message and data rates may apply, and agreeing to texts isn’t a condition of booking a service. Marketing messages are optional and you can opt out anytime; service messages relate to bookings you’ve made. See our Privacy Policy for details, including how to opt out of texts (reply STOP).
10. Reviews and content you submit
If you send us a review, testimonial, photo, or other feedback, you grant MIL Cleaners a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display it in connection with our business — for example, on our website or social media — with attribution as appropriate. Please only submit content that’s yours to share and that’s accurate, and don’t submit anything unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights.
11. Intellectual property
The MIL Cleaners name, the “Mother-in-Law Test™” mark, our logos, site design, text, and graphics are owned by MIL Cleaners LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the site for your own non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding or content without our written permission.
12. Third-party services and links
Our site relies on and links to third-party services — including our booking partner and its payment processor — and to other sites such as social media and review platforms. We aren’t responsible for the content, products, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
13. Disclaimers
Our website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, or secure.
Our cleaning services are provided with reasonable care and skill and are backed by the Mother-in-Law Guarantee described above. Except for that guarantee and any rights you have under applicable law that can’t be waived, we make no other warranties about the services.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MIL Cleaners LLC, its owners, franchisees, and team members won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of our site or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a cleaning service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MIL Cleaners LLC, its owners, franchisees, and team members from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute arises, we’d like the chance to resolve it informally first — please contact us. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise or gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under local law.
17. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and MIL Cleaners LLC about your use of our website and services, and they replace any earlier understandings on the subject.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we don’t enforce part of these Terms right away, that isn’t a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign them — for example, as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Changes apply going forward, and continuing to use our site or book our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
