Deep Cleaning

Our most thorough clean, built around the places your Mother-in-Law checks when she thinks no one's watching. We hand-wash the baseboards and door frames, then pull out the range and fridge to scrub the floor behind them. The grout that goes gray gets descaled, and we detail the AC vents and ceiling-fan blades where dust settles and she'd run a fingertip. This is the visit that resets a home that's drifted. Most people book it before a listing photo or after a long season away. We require it as the first clean for new recurring clients, so we start where she'd start.

The same checklist every visit. That includes the spots your Mother-in-Law checks on her way to the kitchen, and the ones she'd never admit she checked.

  • Hand-washed baseboards, doors, and frames
  • Inside & behind appliances, descaled grout & tile
  • AC vents, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
  • Detailed bathroom descaling and edge-cleaned floors
  • Interior window glass and sills

Ideal for

  • First-time clients
  • Seasonal / spring resets
  • Pre-listing & post-party homes

What humid, coastal climates do to a home

In our humid Florida and Sunbelt service area, mildew grows on grout, lanai sliders, and AC vents year-round, and pollen and Saharan-dust seasons leave a film your Mother-in-Law would spot from the doorway. A deep clean there does real work.

Answers before your Mother-in-Law asks

What is the Mother-in-Law Test?
The Mother-in-Law Test is the cleanliness standard every M.I.L. Cleaners visit is held to — the bar a sharp-eyed mother-in-law sets when she runs a finger along the shelf. No grit in the shower track, no fingerprints on the stainless fridge, baseboards you can run a finger along, dusted fan blades. If anything you report within 24 hours wouldn't pass the Test, we re-clean that area free.
How much does house cleaning cost?
M.I.L. Cleaners charges flat rates by home size, with no in-home estimate — you see your exact price on the site before you book, with no callback and no surprises on the invoice. Recurring plans save you more than one-time, and your first recurring visit is a deep clean so we start from a clean baseline.
How does the instant price work?
Tell us your home size, the type of clean, and how often you'd like us. The calculator shows a flat-rate price right on the page, no callback or in-home estimate required. For a home in normal, lived-in condition, that price is what you pay. No hidden fees, no surprises on the invoice. The rare home that needs heavy extra work first gets a revised price you approve before we start, and nothing gets added after.
Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes. Every cleaner is background-checked (state and federal), interviewed in person, and trained to our checklist before they ever set foot in your home. That's the same standard you'd want before you handed someone a key. M.I.L. Cleaners is fully bonded and insured, and a Certificate of Insurance is available on request.
What is the Mother-in-Law Guarantee?
Every clean has to pass the Mother-in-Law Test, the standard a sharp-eyed Mother-in-Law would hold it to. If something falls short, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and re-clean that area free. It's in writing. If the re-clean still isn't right, we credit or refund that visit. Your call.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Not at all. Most clients give us secure entry instructions when they book. Your card stays securely on file and is only charged after the service is complete, so there's nothing to hand over in person. Come home to a house that looks like your Mother-in-Law is already on her way over.
